Canada-Israel Energy Science and Technology Fund.

The Canada-Israel Industrial R&D Foundation (CIIRDF) is pleased to announce the first call for proposals for the Canada-Israel Energy Science and Technology (CIEST) Fund. The fund will support collaborative R&D projects between Canada and Israel on energy technologies and processes. Successful applications will be led by Canadian and Israeli companies and will enable them, along with academic researchers, to cooperate on the development of innovations that address shared energy priorities.

Canadian university and college researchers participating in CIEST proposals can have their work funded by NSERC as a non-repayable grant if the project has an integrated CRD (Collaborative R&D) or ARD (Applied R&D) component.

Any Dalhousie faculty member with suitable Canadian and/or Israeli industry partners may find this opportunity to be of interest.

The deadline to submit a proposal is July 19th.
