Speakers announced for Israel’s Diamond Week

Industry analysts Tom Moses, Chaim Even Zohar and Martin Rapaport are slated to speak at the inaugural U.S./International Diamond Week at the Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) in Ramat Gan from March 17 to 20The speakers will be on-hand to share with participants their individual insights on the current state of the global diamond industry.

Moses, senior vice president of the Gemological Institute of America, will speak on March 19, addressing issues “that keep GIA on its toes,” as well as topics pertaining to treatments, synthetic diamonds and recent research.

Zohar, author of “From Mine to Mistress” and publisher of the Diamond Intelligence Briefs, will speak on March 20, offering the findings of his latest analysis of the diamond supply pipeline.

Rapaport, industry analyst journalist and polished diamonds price list guru, will speak on March 18 under the header of “The State of the Diamond Industry.”

“In today’s diamond market, change is the only constant we have, and members of our trade need to keep themselves appraised of recent developments. I am sure that each speaker will deliver the goods,” IDE President Yair Sahar said.

U.S. Diamond week is open to all diamond bourses. Buyers attending U.S./International Diamond Week will be offered four free hotel nights at the Leonardo Hotel, located opposite the Ramat Gan diamond exchange complex. Registration can be found here.
