EL AL Israel Airlines has selected the wireless in-flight entertainment system BoardConnect from Lufthansa Systems for 10 Boeing 737s and 2 Boeing 767s, the companies said Wednesday. Using their laptops, tablet PCs or smartphones, BoardConnect allows EL AL passengers to access on-demand audio and video and other content.
Earlier this year, Elbit Systems of America, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Elbit Systems Ltd., was awarded a contract for TC-100L amplifiers as part of a weight reduction initiative for the US Army’s OH-58 Kiowa Warrior.
