Military Industry in Israel : First Conference of its Kind

On May 20, the first international C5I conference will begin in Israel, with the participation of senior military officers and industry officials from around the world. The conference will focus on the many challenges such as battlefield tactical connectivity and cyber attacks

The international C5I (Command and Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber ​and Intelligence) Conference, a first of its kind in Israel, will take place between May 20 and May 23, 2013. The conference will serve as a meeting place for military personnel from Israel and around the world, senior defense industry officials and experts in the fields covered in the conference.

« We want to focus on the C5I challenges that defense entities face today, such as connectivity at tactical levels and utilizing civilian technologies for military purposes, in the framework of the key threat facing both defense and civilian bodies, cyber attacks, » said conference chairman Brig. Gen. (Res.) Yehoo Even-Zahav. The first commander of Lotem, the technological unit of the IDF C4I Branch, Even-Zahav adds that « this is a unique opportunity to encounter the leading industries in the field, together with senior speakers from defense and civilian establishments in this field. »
